Job Purpose & Responsibilities Role Purpose:

Facilitates organizational effectiveness by modeling, reinforcing, and coaching the elements of the Commitment Model.

Major responsibilities include:
  • Interacts with the business and site in setting the direction and delivering results for the operating unit including operating parameters and high-level production targets and Business Rules.
  • Responsible for identifying, communicating, and executing operating unit goals and technology plans with respect to health, safety, and environmental concerns, unit operations, and technical opportunities.
  • Owns the Unit Technology Plan.
  • Responsible for unit expense and P&E cost planning and execution to cost and TCO targets.
  • Responsible for efficient maintenance activities and execution that deliver asset performance and optimal cost.
  • Responsible for regular communications across the unit to keep teams apprised of information, KPIâ s announcements, etc.
  • Demonstrates Commitment Model leadership by assigning people appropriate decision rights.
  • Makes sound and timely business decisions based upon Business Technology and Unit Technology Plans.
  • Develops and drives implementation of capital projects that support and advance Business and Unit improvement initiatives.
  • Manages personal development and the development of direct reports.
  • Sets expectations and coaches to ensure that they are understood and accomplished.
  • Development of training plan for the technician team
  • Implementation and completion of training of individual technicians
  • Development and maintenance of Operation Processes and Procedures that support the business process and plans.
The site is located in Burkville, AL, just outside of Montgomery, AL.
Requirements Education/Experience Requirements:
  • BS Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of compounding or chemical operations manufacturing experience, or other relevant manufacturing experience, preferably in the plastics industry
  • Understanding of fundamental EHS&S processes, ISO9001/14001, relevant environmental regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to meet program and/or operating plan metrics
  • Extremely strong team leadership and cross-functional communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to work with high a degree of reliability and self-reliance
  • Ability to modify interpersonal style, to use listening and feedback skills to build understanding, and effectively manage conflict
  • Ability to give encouragement, guidance and direction to others to improve performance
  • Ability to inspire and guide others toward identifying and achieving vision and goals; provides purpose and direction.
  • In depth understanding of unit operations, process equipment and technology.
  • Ability to listen generously and practice open advocacy; ability to provide people the information to perform their assigned roles by spoken word.
  • Ability to provide people the written information necessary to do their job correctly; ability to make relevant information known in a responsive and effective way.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
